About Me

We Live Life Everyday & Only Die Once!

If you were readers of my old blog, I hope you will enjoy the new website.

I enjoy seeing familiar names and look forward to meeting new people. For those who know me, I feel I grew up with the best of all worlds. My early years was divided, half of the time I lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the other half, I had the great fortune to be with my grandparents on a farm in Afton, Oklahoma. My adult years, I lived all over the South: Arkansas, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Louisiana. From my point of view, I have had a great life. Sure there were trials and tribulations, but who doesn't have tests; that is what makes us strong. I have been employed as a registered nurse for over 40 years, most of them in a hospital setting, and also operated a multitude of small businesses. Garden Gate Reflection is a way to reflect on myself and share what I have learned over the years and, best of all: how I am growing in knowledge today. The purpose of my blog is to share information concerning my writing and books, gardening and plant-based eating, traveling in fun places around Northern California, and sharing tips on “Living a wonderful life” in difficult times. Subscribe if you like what you see.
